EOS Eco-Energy is looking for a Project Assistant

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will assist with a number of
exciting projects linked to energy conservation, energy efficiency,
renewable energy and sustainable community planning. We expect the
individual to work from Sackville, NB for this 10-week contract.
 
Duties:
 
· Communication with the public about energy efficiency, energy conservation
and renewable energy through verbal interaction and on-line forums (social
networking media) 
· Survey and engagement session data entry and analysis
· Data collection of baseline indicators for sustainability plans
· Networking and promotion associated with regional/ local sustainability
planning process
· Prepare regular reports of project activities
· Writing brief articles on a variety of energy related topics
· Communication with EOS members
 
Experience required:
·    Interest in environmental issues (ie, energy sustainability)
·   Bilingualism is an asset
·   Some experience in coordinating projects
·   Must be enrolled in post secondary education, preferably environmental
science or biology
·   Volunteer experience is an asset
·   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 
Duration:
10-week contract
 
Salary: $12.00/hour
