The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) invites you to the "Dare to Be Deep Tour: the National Tour for Canada's Oceans." Join us to celebrate Canada's oceans and the collaboration with the Haida Nation that has led to the designation of the Gwaii Haanas National Marine Conservation Area.
Haida dancers will perform ceremonious songs and dances, and CPAWS will present spectacular footage of the islands. Also, the tour will feature speakers from CPAWS, Parks Canada, and author Harry Thurston.
When: Tuesday, November 9th 2010

Time: 6:30 to 9:30 pm
Tickets include a chance to win a Gwaii Haanas voyage and other prizes such as, a two week pass for Moksha Hot Yoga, outdoor gear from Mountain Equipment Co-op, family passes to the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History, a gift certificate from Woozles Children's Bookstore and a gift package from DAVIDsTEA.
Join us at 6:30pm to socialize! Cash bar available.
There will also be interesting exhibits and display booths from other groups & organizations.
