Position Title: Organizer – Atlantic Canada

Summary:
The Organizer is a member of a national organizing team working at the  
grassroots level to ensure Electoral District Associations (EDAs) are  
founded and receive ongoing support, with a strong focus on membership  
and capacity building. Organizers help to identify quality candidates,  
providing training and support so that campaigns are run effectively.  
Some travel within the region is necessary. Hours of work vary and may  
include weekends and evenings. During an election, organizers are  
required to work long hours.

Description du poste:

L’organisatrice / L’organisateur est membre de l’équipe nationale  
d’organisation qui travaille à l’échelle locale pour s’assurer que les  
associations de circonscriptions (ACE) reçoivent un financement et un  
soutien adéquats et stables en portant une attention particulière au  
recrutement de membres et au renforcement des capacités.  
L’organisatrice / L’organisateur contribue à identifier des candidates  
et des candidats hautement qualifiés, à leur fournir formation et  
soutien afin que leurs campagnes se déroulent le plus efficacement  
possible. Le poste requiert certains déplacements au sein de la  
région. L’horaire de travail peut comprendre des soirées et des  
weekends. En période électorale, les organisateurs doivent travailler  
de longues heures.
