Le Groupe de développement durable du Pays de Cocagne a le plaisir de vous
inviter à un 

 

 

atelier pour apprendre à saler des cosses (haricots).

 

       

 

 

Le sel est utilisé comme agent de conservation.

Nos ancêtres ont beaucoup salé de cosses. Certains le font encore et c’est
le cas de madame Doris. Elle est prête à nous partager ses connaissances et
son expertise.

 

Pour 10$ vous retournerez chez vous avec un pot de ‘cosses salées. Apportez
un contenant de plastique ou de verre (d’environ 1 gallon/4 litres) avec
couvercle. Nous vous fournirons l’eau, le sel et les cosses.

 

Venez découvrir cette méthode de conservation des aliments, le mercredi 17
août, 2011, 18h30, au Club d’âge d’Or de Cocagne, à partir de la Route 535,
Cocagne, NB.

The Pays de Cocagne Sustainable Development Group is happy to present the
following workshop

 

Learning to salt fresh snap beans

 

      

Salt is used in food conservation. Our ancestors salted fresh snap beans.
Some people still do as is the case with Madame Doris. She has agreed to
share with us her knowledge and expertise.

 

With a 10$ contribution you will go home with a container of salted bean.
Please bring your own plastique or glass container (approx 1 gallon/4
liters) with cover. We will supply the water, the salt and the beans.

 

Come discover this food conservation method on Wednesday August 17, 2011, 6
:30pm at the Club d’Âge d’Or de Cocagne, entrance from Route 535, Cocagne,
NB.
