SUMMER STUDENT POSITION



Position: Office Assistant

Who we are:

RCCN is a province wide non-profit organization that works on enhancing the long-term sustainability of coastal and rural communities in Nova Scotia. We provide a forum to encourage dialogue, share information and create strategies and undertake actions which promote the survival and development of our rural and coastal communities.



Location:

Our office is located in New Glasgow on the corner of Abercrombie Rd and Maple Ave.



Here's the job:

The Office Assistant role will involve working with staff in the promotion of RCCN, database management, updating social media sites, and various office duties.

Wage: $12 per hour Length of position: 8 weeks, 30 hours per week.



What we need:

A student with internet skills, knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel), someone who can work individually or collaboratively, an interest in the not for profit sector would also be an asset.

Cultural diversity is a key priority within Rural & Coastal Communities Network.



The fine print:

You must be a returning student between the ages of 15-30
