A DECADE OF GREEN JOBS

-- 9,000 jobs later, GoodWork celebrates its first decade



Ten years ago this week, GoodWork was launched as a tiny e-mail group. That week we posted a total of six jobs. We had no website, no office, not even a phone. 



Since then GoodWork has posted almost 9,000 green/environmental jobs, now getting close to 200 a month. We've built a site frequented by green-minded Canadians from coast to coast. We've reached tens of thousands of people, helping them discover how and where they can contribute the most. 



I'd like to thank everyone who's helped GoodWork along the way -- by spreading the word, posting jobs, applying for jobs. Thank you for keeping up the good, important work that so many of you have found the space in your lives to do. Thanks also to Canada's environmental networks, without whom GoodWork probably would never have been possible. 



Let's work together to make this decade a green one. If anyone can make a difference, it's us!
