*Sorry for cross-postings. Please circulate this widely.

Dear friends who care about peace, renewable energy and action on climate
change,

I cannot exaggerate how serious it is that Lockheed Martin is getting
involved in renewable energy in this province - through a tidal power
project with Atlantis and Irving Corp. in the Bay of Fundy, a biomass
project in Cape Breton, and attempts last year to get involved in solar.

Lockheed Martin is now sponsoring and speaking at the upcoming Nova Scotia
Renewable Energy Conference in April - please see the agenda here:
http://www.eiseverywhere.com/ehome/index.php?eventid=17136&tabid=22046&

Lockheed Martin is the world's largest weapons headquartered in the US that
produces nuclear weapons, Hellfire missiles, combat systems and is now
trying to trying to sell our federal government the $29 billion stealth
fighters (will hold 18,000 litres of jet fuel on board that will cause upper
atmosphere climate change).

You should also know that LOCKHEED MARTIN = MONSANTO (they share directors
on their respective boards with the CEO of Lockheed Robert Stevens even on
Monsanto's board:
http://www.monsanto.com/whoweare/Pages/board-of-directors.aspx )

We cannot let a corrupt and criminal US weapons manufacturer control
renewable energy in this province.

Please mark your calendars for a PROTEST AGAINST LOCKHEED MARTIN - NOT GREEN
ENERGY Tuesday, April 19
10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
World Trade & Convention Centre
1800 Argyle St., Halifax

*Friends, we must TAKE BACK OUR POWER in NS from Lockheed Martin - please,
please spread the word and join me. If we do not resist this now, it will be
much worse on the green front in NS.

*On a more hopeful note, Earth Hour this Saturday, March 26 at 8:30 p.m.
