[Sust-mar] Hand Mowing Championships

August 25: Ninth Annual Maritime Hand Mowing Championships sponsored 
by Rural Delivery magazine. Ross Farm Heritage Museum, New Ross, NS. 
Instruction and demonstrations begin 9 am. Main event, 1 pm. Hay 
forking competition and chair mowing, hand threshing and hay 
stacking. All part of the Museum's popular hay-making weekend 
featuring horse and ox-drawn equipment. Old time country music. Food 
(BBQ roast pork) and beverages served at noon. Mower registration: No 
previous experience required. Youth, open, and veteran classes. To
