SIGN UP FOR NOFRAC LOBBYING WEEK - COMING IN MARCH

NOFRAC, the Nova Scotia Fracking Resource and Action Coalition,  is  
organizing two types of action to reach MLA's during the month of  
March, to let all our MLA's know we do not want fracking in our  
province.

1. LOBBYING EFFORT - Meet personally with your MLA in their local  
office, together with one or more of your friends, neighbors or family  
members, or other NOFRAC members or allies to provide them with  
important information about fracking and show them that you care about  
this issue!

NOFRAC will prepare background materials you can use.You don't have to  
be an expert.  NOFRAC will help you get prepared.

NOFRAC will also be organizing a How to Lobby Effectively webinar and  
handout for all those willing to meet their MLA personally.

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE LOBBYING CAMPAIGN.  
WE CAN TRY TO CONNECT YOU WITH OTHERS IN YOUR RIDING WHO ARE  
INTERESTED. Please respond to Mark Tipperman, markrelawyer at gmail.com,   
if you are willing to take part.

2. DIAL-IN EFFORT - Call, email or write your MLA and the Premier to  
express your opposition to fracking, and your support of a moratorium  
on fracking .
Many of you have done this before, but we want MLA's and the Premier  
to know that we have not forgotten this issue, and that  we are not  
satisfied with the review process underway which begins with the  
premise that fracking should be permitted in Nova Scotia.

NOFRAC will prepare background materials in case you aren't sure what  
to say.

If you aren't on the NOFRAC mailing list and you want further  
information about dates and background information as they are  
available, contact Mark Tipperman atmarkrelawyer at gmail.com and he will  
add you to the email list for these lobby and dial in efforts.

Please plan to participate in these efforts.

We are asking you to NOW CONTACT your neighbors, friends and  
acquaintances and local organizations who might be willing to  
participate in either the Lobby Effort or the Dial in Effort.

Because we are trying to involve as many residents of Nova Scotia as  
possible in this public outcry, we ask that you forward this email to  
everyone you know who might possibly be concerned about fracking and  
the grave harm we believe fracking will likely bring to the Province  
and everyone living here now and for generations to come.
