Clean Nova Scotia, in collaboration with CURA H2O, is holding two free water quality monitoring training sessions
for individuals in the Halifax/Dartmouth metro area and the Eastern Shore.
The sessions will include both an indoor presentation and outdoor field work at
a nearby river or lake. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Halifax/Dartmouth
Session
When: Saturday,
November 17th, 9am-12pm.
Where:
Clean Nova Scotia office: 126 Portland Street, Dartmouth
Eastern Shore Session
When: Sunday,
November 18th, 9am-12pm

The Deanery Project: 37 Deanery Rd, Ship Harbour
The sessions are part of the Discover Your Watershed program @ CNS and will cover introductory
information on monitoring water quality. The content will be useful to
community group members and others involved in watershed stewardship and will cover poor water quality causes and effects, field practices and strategies and evaluation of monitoring data.
