Departure Locations:

Eastern Passage:  A&M Sea Charters, 87 Government Wharf Rd, Fisherman's Cove. Capacity 29 persons. SOLD OUT

Halifax: Meet at Murphy’s Cable Wharf, 1751 Lower Water St on the Halifax Waterfront.
Capacity 190 persons. PLENTY OF TICKETS AVAILABLE

Join the Friends of McNabs Island Society for the annual Fall Foliage Tour of McNabs Island Provincial Park. See the island in its autumn splendour and participate in guided
history and nature tours.
* **Visit the island's many historic sites including Victorian Gardens, pop bottle factory, grounds of the historic Conrad and Lynch homes and stop at historic Fort Ives for a breathtaking view of Halifax Harbour.
* Roam the island with a biologist exploring the park's animal and plant habitats.
* Learn more about the tragic story of the SS England, stricken with cholera and quarantined near McNabs in 1866.
* Explore the setting of the acclaimed Thomas Raddall novel, Hangman's Beach.

Wear comfortable shoes, and bring a lunch and drinking water.
Cost:
* $12 (members and children under 16)
* $15 (non-members)
* babies under 2 free.

Tickets are limited and available from Ticket Atlantic at (902) 451-1221, the Halifax Metro Centre Box Office and kiosk, the 27 participating Atlantic Superstore outlets or online at www.ticketatlantic.com.
