Hello Sust-Mar Friends!

Please spread the word. Thank you!

(1) PLEASE SIGN PETITION
Today is the anniversary of the US nuclear bombing of Hiroshima in 1945 -
incalculable suffering, death and destruction. We need to abolish these
weapons of mass destruction. We all continue to be at risk because the US,
Russia, France, India, Pakistan, Israel, the UK & North Korea refuse to
abolish their stockpiles.
Please sign the Ceasefire.ca petition "Louder than the Bomb" at
Ceasefire.ca: http://www.ceasefire.ca/?p=15918&swref=rss&swuid=682
It is a Global Parliamentary Appeal for a Nuclear Weapons Ban. Tell your MP
that you support a nuclear weapons ban and want them to do the same. Please
send your letter, right away.

BLOG "Wednesdays against Warships": http://demilitarize.ca/wp/

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired
signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not
fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not
spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius
of its scientists, the hopes of its children." - Former US President D.
Eisenhower, 1953
