The Ecology Action Centre is hiring a Community Fisheries Coordinator who
will be responsible for project deliverables relating to market based
approaches for supporting small-scale fisheries. The project connects
fishing communities with markets looking for sustainable seafood, advocates
for policy changes to support small-scale but high-value fisheries, and
develops social finance tools and solutions to ensure long-term and
intergenerational community access to fishery resources.

General responsibilities include project management, campaign management
and community development and organization. Experience working directly in
fisheries is not required, so if you have transferable experiences from
other community work please apply.
