The Ecology Action Centre (EAC) is seeking a permanent, full-time Administrative Assistant to work in our Fern Lane office. The Administrative Assistant's responsibility will be to provide general administrative support and to support the smooth operation of the Ecology Action Centre. This will include various administrative tasks, direct assistance for the EAC's Directors, general support for the whole staff team, supporting the maintenance, operation and effective use of the Fern Lane building, a variety of information management tasks, and ensuring the EAC's compliance with Health and Safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a warm manner, be organized and detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment. The Administrative Assistant will report to the Managing Director, and work closely with the Office Manager and the operations team.

Start Date: Between June 24th and July 5th, 2013
Wage and Benefits: 35 hours per week, $16/hr, 4 weeks paid vacation; benefits package
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia in EAC's wonderful green office on Fern Lane
