INTERNSHIP POSITIONS

Are you outgoing, personable, looking for adventure, environmentally conscientious and willing to take on the challenge of rural living? Then we want you! This is your chance to leave your mark on Falls Brook Centre through the implementation of organic agriculture, wetland restoration, land-building, and community involvement programming.

For over 15 years, Falls Brook Centre has offered young Canadians an opportunity to gain practical experience in the fields of organic agriculture, environmental education, land restoration, renewable energy and community development. The goal of this project is to give young Canadians hands-on work experience and to develop skills in the fields of international relations and sustainable development both in the context of Atlantic Canada and abroad.

CANADA (Glassville, New Brunswick)
• Wetlands and Biodiversity Assistant
• Organic Gardens Assistant
• Renewable Energies Assistant

INTERNATIONAL (Honduras)
• Mangrove Restoration Facilitator with Cuerpos de Conservacion Omoa
• Environmental Grants Assistant with Fundacion Islas de la Bahia
• Environmental Resource Management Facilitator with Mancomunidad de Municipios del Centro de Atlantida

FBC internships for 2014 will run for four months from May-August, and may be extended on an individual basis.
