Citizens for Public Transit Society's (CPT)

Purpose:

To establish, for as many Lunenburg County residents as possible, a sustainable, affordable, accessible transit system.

Objectives:

     • To promote the development of a Public Transit System that is sustainable, affordable, and accessible to all Citizens of
       Lunenburg County;
     • To encourage involvement of the residents of Lunenburg County in the decision-making process;
     • To carry out other activities as requested by the Membership that are consistent with CPT objectives.

Goals:

     • Establish the need;
     • Explain the need to Municipal Councils, to the Province and Federal Governments;
     • To see a pilot service initiated.
