Tuesday May 31, Lawrencetown, 5:15 PM @ Lawrencetown Boat Launch, Lawrencetown Lane

Wednesday June 1, 5:00 PM @ Stronach Park, Bridge St.

Clean Annapolis River Project is looking for volunteers to assist with nest surveys and nest monitoring

Nest surveys are conducted in evenings throughout June at sites between Paradise and Aylesford. Surveys require quietly and patiently watching for nesting activity. When nests are observed being laid they will be covered with a protective enclosure. After 90 days of incubation all protected nests need to be check on a daily basis for emerging hatchlings. Monitoring can last until October!

No previous experience needed. Sessions will be held outdoors. All ages welcome. Youth under 14 should be accompanied by a parent/guardian who will support them in this role.
