Don’t cut off your toe to fill your woodbox! Sign up for a weekend chainsaw workshop with certified chainsaw instructor Patrick Allan at the Harrison Lewis Centre July 21-23. Come away able to safely wield this incredibly powerful, helpful – and potentially dangerous – tool. This is a hands-on workshop – far more than demonstration – where a maximum of eight participants learn by doing; saw operation and maintenance, from the basics to advanced techniques including directional felling. $325 covers tuition, a bunk bed two nights, and home-cooked meals and ‘tween meal snacks.
