The Canadian Environmental Network (RCEN) facilitates cooperation and networking among non-profit, non-governmental environmental organizations across Canada and internationally. Since 1977, we have been enabling and enhancing our members' work of protecting, conserving, restoring and promoting a clean, healthy, sustainable environment.

RCEN is seeking motivated volunteers to assist with communications. Communications Officers draft member newsletters and action alerts, prepare media releases, assist with funding proposals, contribute to RCEN's social media presence and help develop RCEN's communication strategy.

Most work is done remotely and volunteers should be comfortable with digital communications. An ability to work in both English and French is an asset but not required.

Depuis 1977, RCEN s’est efforcé d’établir des liens entre les organisations environnementales, les activistes et les paliers gouvernementaux afin de promouvoir la collaboration et de la communication. En rassemblant les intervenants environnementaux du Canada en un même réseau national, nous amplifions la voix et l’impact de chaque membre.

RCEN cherche des bénévoles à aider avec les communications. Ils écriveront des bulletins aux membres, prépareront des sorties aux médias, assisteront à écrire des demandes de financement, contribueront aux médias sociaux et aideront à développer la stratégie des communications.

La plupart du travail se fait à distance et les bénévoles devraient pouvoir utiliser des divers médias numériques. La capacité de travailler en anglais ainsi qu'en français est une avantage mais n'est pas nécessaire.
