The South Shore Chapter of the Council of Canadians is presenting the
film, *The
New Corporation:  The Unfortunately Necessary Sequel *at the Lunenburg
Opera House, 290 Lincoln Street on Tuesday, November 30, 7:00pm.



Filmmakers Joel Bakan and Jennifer Abbott examine the influence of
corporations on every aspect of modern society and reveal how the corporate
takeover is being justified by the sly rebranding of corporations as
socially conscious entities. In the face of fracturing societies, climate
change, and the hollowing out of democracy, there is a cry for social
justice, deeper democracy, and transformative solutions. You will hear voices
from around the world who are leading a groundswell of resistance

Admission is free, but donations are welcome to help cover costs of
screening rights and venue rental.  Required for admission:  POV, ID, mask.
