Below is a notice for the South Shore, NS Day of Action for a Just
Transition event on March 12.   But there are also several other events in
the Maritimes.

Come join us for a lively theatrical event imagining a greener future where
no one is left behind.

The Council of Canadians and 350.org are organizing a nationwide Day of
Action on March 12, 2022 to call attention to Justin Trudeau’s
as-yet-unfulfilled, three-year-old promise to create a Just Transition Act.

As part of this Day of Action, the South Shore Chapter of the Council of
Canadians is staging a brief, family-friendly event, set in the year 2030.
Actors will report on positive social, environmental, and economic changes
since the Just Transition Act was enacted in 2022.

Everyone is welcome to share in this opportunity to imagine how bold
leadership and legislation can accelerate the transition to 100% renewable
energy while also creating good, green jobs; establishing affordable
housing and public transit; eliminating child poverty; and respecting
Indigenous sovereignty.
