Food For All NB is a provincial food security network that envisions a New Brunswick that is informed, connected and engaged in food security for all. The network is guided by the mission to provide leadership in the advancement of food security in New Brunswick through networking, knowledge and information sharing, and public relations and building partnerships.

Food For All NB is in an exciting moment of organizational change. After more than a decade, Food For All is pursuing incorporation into an independent organization (non-profit or charitable status). At this time, we are seeking committed and strategic leaders to support governance of Food For All NB as volunteer members of its Steering Committee (SC) which will transition to a Board of Directors in 2022.

Currently, the SC is responsible for the organization’s success, strategic direction, and ensuring long-term sustainability. SC members provide guidance and support to the Network Director on financial management, communications, event planning, network support, fundraising, and human resources. As the committee transitions to a board model, these responsibilities will remain.

We are seeking up to four (4) strategic, innovative, team-oriented members with an interest in Food For All NB’s vision and mission. We’re excited to welcome individuals who will approach this position with a high degree of initiative and that will demonstrate an overall drive to build lasting success for the organization.

To create a well-balanced committee, we are currently seeking members to bring these priority competencies: board governance, change management, financial planning & fundraising. Additional competencies include: community engagement, communications, and a commitment to advancing food security in the province. Priority will be given to Indigenous, Acadian, and newcomer representation, and geographical locations will also be considered with priority given to those located or experience working the Restigouche, Fundy, South East and Western Valley areas.

Additional qualifications include savvy diplomacy skills and a natural affinity for convening, facilitating, and building consensus among diverse individuals. This role requires a commitment of approximately five-ten hours per month.

Aliments pour tous NB est un réseau provincial de sécurité alimentaire, qui œuvre pour un Nouveau-Brunswick interrelié, informé et engagé envers la sécurité alimentaire pour toutes et tous. Il a pour mission de jouer un rôle de leader dans l’avancement de la sécurité alimentaire au Nouveau-Brunswick par le réseautage, le savoir et l’échange d’information, les relations publiques et l’établissement de partenariats.

Food For All NB vit un moment palpitant de changement organisationnel. Après plus d'une décennie, Aliment pour tous cherche à s'incorporer en organisme indépendant (à but non lucratif ou caritatif). À l'heure actuelle, nous sommes à la recherche de leaders engagés et stratégiques pour soutenir la gouvernance de Food For All NB en tant que membres bénévoles de son comité directeur (CD), qui deviendra un conseil d'administration en 2022.

Le CD est présentement responsable de la réussite d’Aliments pour tous NB, de son orientation stratégique et de sa viabilité à long terme. Les membres du CD fournissent à la directrice du réseau des conseils et du soutien en matière de gestion financière, de communications, d’événementiel, d’appui au réseau, de financement et de ressources humaines.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un maximum de quatre (4) membres stratégiques, innovateurs et orientés équipe qui s’intéressent à la vision et à la mission d’Aliments pour tous NB. Nous nous réjouissons à la perspective d’accueillir des personnes qui exerceront cette fonction en faisant preuve d’un grand sens de l’initiative et qui seront déterminés à assurer le succès à long terme de l’organisation.

Pour créer un comité bien équilibré et intersectoriel, nous cherchons des personnes qui travaillent au sein d’organismes ou de groupes non gouvernementaux (secteurs privé et sans but lucratif) et nous prioriserons les personnes qui représentent les Premières Nations, la communauté acadienne ou les nouveaux arrivants. L’emplacement géographique sera aussi considéré, la priorité étant accordée aux personnes qui se trouvent ou ont travaillé dans les régions suivantes : Restigouche, Fundy, Sud-Est et Vallée de l’Ouest. Parmi les autres atouts recherchés, des qualités de leader éprouvées, une expérience au sein d’un comité directeur ou d’un conseil d’administration et un engagement à faire avancer la sécurité alimentaire dans la province seront considérés.

Les personnes qui sont douées pour la diplomatie et qui ont une facilité naturelle à rassembler, à animer et à établir le consensus parmi des groupes diversifiés sont d’excellentes candidates. À noter que l’exercice de cette fonction exige un engagement d’environ cinq à dix heures par mois.
