2. BEA'S NIECE - TORONTO
----------------------------------
$10 Arts Worker (administrative and artistic) tickets are available for
all remaining performances of Bea's Niece by David Gow, directed by
Richard Rose, onstage now in Tarragon Theatre's Mainspace.

In Bea's Niece there is a powerful intersection in the life of novelist
Anne Hirsch (played by Maria Ricossa), where truth and fiction, reality
and fantasy, psychology and spirituality, life and death all cross
paths. Anne, in her fifties and recovering from a suicide attempt in
hospital, receives visitors. They include her Aunt Bea (played by
Patricia Hamilton) who offers practical and hilarious advice, a young
and persistent psychiatrist (played by Fiona Highet) who is a
self-declared fan of the novelist, a female Rabbi (also played by
Patricia Hamilton), and Anne's husband Bill (played by John Bourgeois).
All of them try to help Anne sort out the mystery of her rather
complicated perception of time and reality. Anne re-discovers magic in
the ordinary and through the medicine of her own imagination finds the
grace to continue living and the will to challenge herself to greater
heights of understanding and wisdom.

3. BILLY BISHOP GOES TO WAR - KINGSTON
--------------------------------------------------------
The Seat Of Your Pants Theatre Company is pleased to offer Equity
members $10 tickets (regular price $16) to any performance of BILLY
BISHOP GOES TO WAR, playing February 16-27 at the Baby Grand Theatre in
at 218 Princess Street, Kingston, Ontario. Performances run Tuesday to
Saturday at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm.

BILLY BISHOP GOES TO WAR is the often funny and often very sad story of
Canadian World War One fighter ace Billy Bishop from Owen Sound,
Ontario. Jokingly declared "the worst student that Royal Military
College ever had", Bishop went on to win the Victoria Cross, and holds
the record for Allied kills as part of the Dawn Patrol Squadron in the
Royal Flying Corps. Bishop's feats and daring have made him a legend.
This Canadian classic by John Gray weaves Bishop's story in and out of
memory and war, through dogfights and one-night stands, and into Billy's
heart, and the heart of human conflict. BILLY BISHOP GOES TO WAR was
written and composed by John Gray with Eric Peterson, and is the winner
of the Governor General's Award for Drama, the Chalmers Award, and the
Los Angeles Drama Critics Award.

TSOYPTC's production of BILLY BISHOP GOES TO WAR features Matthew Gibson
(CAEA member), and Sarah Gibson-Bray. It is directed by Jennifer Radford
Gibson, designed by Brian Frommer, and stage managed by Marilyn Croteau.
