Responsibilities
As the Manager, Communications & Development, you will perform the
following duties:

Communications
- plan and implement marketing and publicity campaigns for annual
productions, two subscription cycles, Academy productions, and other
activities as directed
- act as a media spokesperson to maintain and enhance the overall public
image of the Theatre  
- act as communications consultant to ensure the quality of materials
issued in print, orally, or via the internet 

Development
- administer comprehensive annual fundraising plan that fulfills the
objectives of the organization
- build and maintain corporate investment relationships and individual
donor programs
- identify and actively seek new sources of funding for the organization
- solicit corporate sponsors, identify and personally visit prospective
donors
- assume responsibility for meeting revenue targets in the following
areas:
- Sponsorship
- Corporate/Individual Donations
- Foundation/Government Grants
- In-kind donations

Management and other
. manage departmental budgets
. supervise support staff
. participate on Management Team to plan overall theatre policy

Qualifications
. Prior experience in marketing and/or fundraising.
. Prior experience supervising personnel.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
. Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset. 
. You are enthusiastic about sharing live performance.
