The Canadian Tenors Search The Nation
 For The Hottest Vocal Talent 

Victoria, B.C. - The Canadian Tenors, a new musical experience uniting
the elements of the tenor voice with classical, pop opera music and live
theatre, have launched a national search for talent. 

Under the leadership of top artistic directors and recognized expert
international recording producers,  the successful vocal artists will be
provided with professional artistic and commercial representation,
undertake a national tour for the 2006 - 2007 season and an
international tour for the 2007 - 2008 season as well as have the
opportunity to receive extensive media coverage and recording
opportunities. Warner Music Canada is the official distributor of The
Canadian Tenors.

Not your grandparents' opera, the sound of classical tenors has acquired
new pop status thanks to youthful acts such as The Canadian Tenors. Fans
now have access to live and recorded classical/cross-over music by
artists that are young, hip, funny and talented.

All applicants for The Canadian Tenors Audition Call (2006-2008 season)
must be currently eligible to work in Canada, male and between 25 to 38
years of age. All applications must include:
-	An 8"x10" black and white photograph;
-	A resume detailing educational and professional background;
-	An audio CD containing two standard Italian operatic arias and
one crossover work; or two crossover pieces and one classical vocal
selection.

All materials must be received at the offices of The Canadian Tenors at
185 - 911 Yates Street, Box 605, Victoria, B.C., V8V 4Y9 and be
postmarked by June 15, 2006. 
 
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
