CCPA is a dynamic institution in Victoria, BC, dedicated to excellence
in higher education.  The College offers a diverse and
multi-disciplinary curriculum which prepares students for national and
international careers in the performing arts.

Reporting to the College Director, the Artistic and Education Director
(AED) is the senior academic officer responsible for the development and
delivery of a diverse curriculum that provides students with the skills
and experience required in the current job market.  The AED maintains
faculty and student conduct and educational standards at the highest
national level, provides artistic vision and works collaboratively with
the College Director to achieve that vision both practically and
productively.

As a senior executive of the school the AED is responsible for the
selection of students through a national audition and interview process,
for attracting and contracting faculty, developing class and event
schedules and for teaching one course in her or his key discipline of
Voice, Dance, Theatre or Musical Theatre.

BFA or BEd and a minimum of 10 years of experience, or equivalent work
experience, is required, as is non-profit experience. Written and oral
communication skills in English are essential.  Competent written and
oral communication skills in French is beneficial.
