Invitations for phase two of the Independent Theatre Review Committee's work, a survey of independent and small-scale engagers and member-producers, have already been distributed. Participants' access to this survey will close on June 10, 2011.

Independent producers, members who identified themselves as engagers in the Equity membership survey, and companies who have hired Equity artists under small-scale engagements, were asked to participate. Only one survey was sent to any single individual/member or company.

Like the membership survey, this questionnaire takes an in-depth look at the current state of engagement in small-scale theatre, and how Equity is currently meeting the challenges of small-scale theatre production in Canada. Results of this survey will be considered in conjunction with the results of the Equity membership survey to assemble a complete picture of the state of small-scale theatre.
