Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
The vision of the Newmarket National Festival is to promote the diverse
voices and perspectives of artists from every region of Canada.  To that
end, The Newmarket National celebrates diversity of all kinds whether in its
casting choices or selection of plays for the festival program.

Additional information:
Actor wanted to play lead roles in three different productions participating
in the Newmarket National Ten Minute Play Festival.  Age range 45-55 years
needed for  a new Norm Foster play; the father role in a ten minute musical;
and a comedy lead in a satire. Must be able to sing; ability to dance an
asset, but not necessary.

Performance dates are July 21,22, 23, 2017.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
