Hi Everyone,

Some staff from InSite (Vancouver's Safer Injection Facility) are in
town to present at Thursday's Alliance to End Homelessness Research Day.

They want to take advantage of their time in Ottawa to continue their
lobbying and public awareness efforts regarding the facility.

They are planning an action on Parliament Hill on Wednesday morning.
They are bringing large posters of some of their service users as
children with the message "Before they were "junkies" they were kids"
and they want to leaflet all MPs going into the Centre block that day.

They need volunteers to assist with the set up (around 8 am) and to
distribute leaflets (8:30 am) and would like a critical mass of people
there around 9:00 am..

I will try to keep everyone update as I learn more.

Rob
