Dear colleagues,

 

Sprott T3010A Information Return Clinic 

On Friday, May 30th, students from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton
University are offering Ottawa-area charities assistance with the completion
of their T3010A. The clinic will take place at the Sprott E-Lab and Trading
Lab 17th floor Dunton Tower at Carleton University from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

 

There is space for 12 organizations at the clinic. To register please
contact Brenda Gallagher at 613-520-2887 or info at ocvo-cobo.ca.

 

Organizations will be registered for either 9:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. The
following information should be available in order to complete your T3010A –
if you are missing some of the information you may still participate.

 

1.	Financial Statement (audited if available) for the fiscal year you
are reporting on 
2.	List of members of board, directors, trustees (with contact
information and birth dates) 
3.	List of other charitable organizations from which you have received
funds (such as a grant from a foundation or a join fund raiser) 
4.	List of other charitable organizations to which you have given funds

5.	A copy of the Summary you received from Canada Revenue Agency after
filing your return last year 
6.	A print out of the information from last year’s return that is
posted on the CRA web-site 
7.	The package you received from Canada Revenue Agency with hard copies
of the T3010A Package, including the Basic Information Sheet 
8.	If applicable, documents relating to changes in your governing
documents (such as bylaw changes)
9.	Annual report 
10.	List of receipt numbers

 

 

The Sprott T3010A Information Return Clinic is being offered as part of The
Charities File Project in association with the Centre for Volunteer Sector
Research and Development (CVSRD) and the Ottawa Chamber of Voluntary
Organizations.
