On behalf of the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario, I would like to invite you to attend Breaking Down Walls: Accessing Treatment, Services and Supports for Mental Illness. Held throughout Ontario, this upcoming series of community forums will bring together people who are directly and indirectly affected by schizophrenia. Events are being held across the province, and we hope that you will be able to join us at a location near you.

As you know, schizophrenia is a treatable brain disease. People living with schizophrenia, however, face numerous barriers to accessing the psychiatric treatment, community services, and social supports they need. Breaking Down Walls: Accessing Treatment, Services and Supports for Mental Illness will connect those affected by schizophrenia to look for ways to break down these barriers, and inspire and empower individuals to advocate for change.

Full details about the forum in your area, as well as a complete schedule of the community forums, are included below. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at 416.449.6830. Entrance to community forums is free of charge, and refreshments will be served.

We hope to see you there and look forward to working together to make a difference in the lives of Ontarians who are affected by schizophrenia.
