Dear Food Bank Agency Community, 

We have received an appeal for help from the Food Bank in Casselman (50 km
South-East of Ottawa).  The Casselman Food Bank/Banque Alimentaire Casselman
has recently been informed by the municipal authorities of the Village of
Casselman that the organization will not have access to the municipal
building where food bank services are operated, beginning in the end of
December 2009 for a period of 3 or 4 months, while the building undergoes
renovations.  

The Casselman Food Bank is currently working with local municipal
authorities to find a solution, but they would also like to make a general
appeal to the public for support in finding an alternate, rent-free location
to deliver their services during the period of renovations (January 2010 to
April 2010).  Knowledge of rent-free retail-space or other facilities in
accessible community buildings (church, provincial health buildings,
community centres etc) in Casselman or knowledge of who to contact for the
possibility of the temporary lending of a heated trailer for the renovation
period, would be most appreciated.
