SLAM POETRY, LIVE ACOUSTICS, AND MUCH MORE


This art show and coffeehouse is a collaborative effort between students and street artists, 
from planning to performance, aimed at leveling the playing field, with every person participating 
being celebrated for what they bring to the table. 


This is meant to challenge entrenched conceptions we have about people on both sides of the 
poverty line. It is meant to see what it could look like to see people for their potential, rather 
than their deficits. It is meant to be a conversation.
