The Carleton Centre for Community Innovation (3ci) located at Carleton
University wishes to inform you of a number of upcoming events in October.
3ci is pleased to offer two informative workshops for those in the
non-profit/voluntary sector (please see further below) as well information
on a conference focused on Responsible Investing.

Workshop - Charity Law Boot Camp: compliance and standards issues for
Canadian Charities.  

Location/Date:  Carleton University, Friday, October 12th 2012 (9:00 am to
5:00 pm).  

Cost: $226.00 ($200.00 + HST). 

 

Structuring non-profits and charities as well as complying with regulations
and standards can be daunting.  In one day get a basic primer about whether
to incorporate a non-profit initiative or work with another group,
advantages and disadvantages of charitable status, top compliance issues for
