Laboratoire d’innovation sociale et cellules d’expérimentation: nouvelle série d’ateliers en collaboration avec MaRS Solutions Lab
De janvier à juin 2017, Innoweave et le MaRS Solutions Lab<https://www.marsdd.com/systems-change/mars-solutions-lab/mars-solutions-lab-approach/> offriront une série d’ateliers en ligne aux organismes qui explorent la possibilité de démarrer un lab (à l’interne ou avec d’autres organismes) ou qui souhaitent utiliser des approches de type laboratoire dans leur travail. Le contenu des ateliers portera sur : Explorer des problèmes complexes: recherche sur les systèmes et la conception (design),

’’Everyone Counts’’- Dénombrement ponctuel de la Ville de St. John’s
Le 30 novembre 2016, la Ville de St. John’s à Terre-Neuve a tenu son premier dénombrement ponctuel et a piloté une méthodologie améliorée sur la façon de mobiliser les jeunes, incluant des outils et des ressources afin de mieux mobiliser les jeunes sans-abri lors de dénombrements ponctuels. Après le dénombrement, cette méthodologie ainsi que les outils de mise en œuvre seront adaptés pour le dénombrement ponctuel coordonné de 2018. Ceux-ci seront également des ressources pour les collectivités qui mèneront leurs propres dénombrements ponctuels. Pour plus de renseignements, restez à l’affût.
Hackathon - Collaborer pour combattre l’itinérance (HCCI)
Après une fin de semaine complète de ‘’hacking’’, le hackathon Collaborer pour combattre l’itinérance (HCCI) s’est terminé le dimanche 20 novembre. Nous sommes heureux de vous transmettre les premiers résultats de vos présentations qui portaient sur des problèmes particuliers identifiés lors de l’atelier de remue-méninges communautaire.
Dix solutions ont été présentées dimanche après-midi, allant d’une application Web qui aide les jeunes sans-abri d’Ottawa à trouver un lit pour la nuit, à une application Web pour aider les organismes locaux à mettre en commun des ressources limitées, en passant par un système de messagerie pour les services sociaux, et bien plus encore.

Le 26 septembre 2016, la Stratégie des partenariats de lutte contre l’itinérance a lancé les appels de proposition Solutions novatrices à l’itinérance : microsubventions et projets de contribution. Les deux appels se sont terminés le 14 novembre 2016. Plusieurs centaines de propositions ont été reçues et sont maintenant en cours d’évaluation.

’’Everyone Counts’’- The City of St. John’s Point-in-Time Count
On November 30, 2016, the City of St. John’s, Newfoundland, held its first PiT Count, and piloted an enhanced youth engagement methodology to better connect with homeless youth during PiT Count. After the Count, the methodology and related implementation tools will be adapted for the 2018 Coordinated PiT Count and available as resources for communities conducting their own counts. Stay tuned for more information.
Partnering to Hack Homelessness (P2H²)
After a weekend of hacking, Partnering to Hack Homelessness (P2H2) came to an end on Sunday, November 20. We are pleased to share with you some early results from your problem pitches developed during the Community Brainstorming Workshop.
Ten problem pitch solutions were presented on Sunday afternoon, including a web application that helps Ottawa’s homeless youth find a bed for the night, a web application to help local agencies pool scarce resources, a messaging system for social services, and more.

On September 26, 2016, the Homelessness Partnering Strategy launched the Innovative Solutions to Homelessness Calls for Proposals for Microgrants and Contributions projects. Both calls closed on November 14, 2016. Several hundred proposals were received and are being evaluated.
