[BCMA] BC Archives Awareness Week, Nov 15-21, 2026 "Access and Accessibility"

Colleagues,

We invite you to celebrate BC's Archives Awareness Week, November 15-12,
2026, with the Archives Association of British Columbia.

Each year the AABC hosts Archives Awareness Week - an annual celebration to
draw public attention to the importance of the nearly 200 archival
organizations throughout British Columbia.

Just like every archival collection and organization is unique, this year's
theme "Access and Accessibility" can be defined by a broad scope of
perspectives, needs, opportunities, and challenges. Join us for a range of
2026 Archives Awareness Week presentations and learn more about the
strategies and approaches that your colleagues are undertaking in this
space. We encourage institutions to think of ways that they can celebrate
Archives Week in your community to raise public awareness of the importance
of archival records!

All events during Archives Awareness Week are free and presentations will
take place online via Zoom.
