The Great Turning: Revolution for the Sake of Life on Earth

You are invited to a Public Talk by Joanna Macy, at St. Matthew's United Church (on Barrington St. in Halifax), Tuesday October 10, 7pm.

Joanna Macy is an eco-philosopher, scholar of Buddhism, general systems theory and deep ecology, and a leading voice in movements for peace, justice and a safe environment.

Also featuring: Catherine Martin, Mi'kmaq musician and filmmaker; and Love Songs to the Earth, by women of O Beautiful Gaia

Tickets: $10, available at Drala Books in Halifax; Tatamagouche Centre; or at the door (generosity policy for those who cannot afford this amount)

This evening has been organized through a partnership of the Tatamagouche Centre and the Halifax Shambhala Centre.
