In January 2008, Halifax Regional Municipality will host three community 
consultation meetings to obtain input from residents regarding the siting of 
wind turbines.

Community input will assist staff in preparing land use regulations for wind 
turbines in the urban locations of the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Interested members of the public are encouraged to attend.  For meeting 
details including dates, locations and time:

Thursday January 17, 7pm - 9 pm: Halifax West High School, 283 Thomas 
Raddell Drive, Halifax (behind Keshan Goodman Library)

Monday January 21, 7pm - 9 pm: Nova Scotia Community College, Akerley Campus 
(Sobey's Demonstration Theatre), 21 Woodlawn Road, Dartmouth

Monday January 28, 7pm - 9 pm: Sackville High School (Cafeteria), 1 
Kingfisher Way, Sackville
