Job Classification: Full-time Permanent, subject to

probationary period, Candidates interested in part-time work

Start date: January 5, 2009

Wage: start at $12.00 - $14.00 commensurate with experience

Location: Moncton

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, although

there may be occasional evening and weekend work required.



The New Brunswick environmental network is a non-profit

communication network linking over 80 environmental groups

across the province. The network is the heartbeat of the

environmental movement, with a mission "to encourage and

facilitate networking and communication among member groups

in order to advance their work, to protect the Earth, to

promote ecologically sound ways of life and to strengthen

the environmental movement in New Brunswick".



Job Description:

Responsible for website design and maintenance, organizing

events and meetings including an annual meeting, office

management of a small non-profit environmental communication

network including; e-mail management, database management,

graphics, volunteer coordination, and exploring fundraising

and sponsorship opportunities.



Requirements:

* Strong organizational and coordination skills

* Web management and design skills

* Bilingual in both English and French



Assets:

* Capable of working in a flexible work environment

* Ability to work independently but also a co-operative team player

* Quick learner and a highly motivated self-starter

* Creative and resourceful

* Background in the environmental or non-profit sector

de l'organisation des évènements et des réunions, y inclus

une réunion annuelle et de la gestion du bureau d'un réseau

environnemental de communication sans but lucratif, y inclus

la gestion des courriels, la gestion de la base de données,

la création des graphiques, la coordination des bénévoles et

l'exploration des opportunité de levée de fonds et de

sponsorship.



Exigences :

* Fortes compétences en organisation et en coordination de projets.

* Compétences de conception et de gestion des sites-Web

* Fortes compétences en communication à la fois en anglais et

en français.
