Join the Nova Scotia Nature Trust on a guided walk of the Wolfville
Watershed Nature Preserve. The Preserve, which has been protected as forever
wild conservation lands by the Town of Wolfville in partnership with the
Nature Trust, is home to many exceptional features, including rare
old-growth hemlock forest, wetlands and brooks, and a diversity of
interesting plant life.
On Saturday, August 23rd, from 9 - 11am, the Nature Trust will host a guided
walk on the property, led by naturalists Bernard Forsythe and Jim Wolford.
This free event will be an opportunity to explore the area and learn more
about its natural history. Please meet at the parking lot at the end of
Forest Hill Road, in Gaspereau, at 9am.
For more information or to register for the walk, contact Lauren Allen at
the Nature Trust at (902) 406-3320 or <mailto:lauren at nsnt.ca>
lauren at nsnt.ca. Rain date TBA.
