Fundraising for Small Organizations, with Kim Klein
November 7-9; Fri. 7pm to Sun. 1pm
Tatamagouche Centre
As the global economy reels, this will probably be the most challenging time for us to fundraise for our important environmental and social justice projects. So, it is very important that our efforts are as tried-and-true and effective as possible!
Invest in your skills, and learn from a leading international expert in fundraising! At this workshop, Kim Klein will take you through the key principles of fundraising, show you how to build a team of people to raise money, let you practice the process, and show you the essentials of the most successful fundraising strategies. Come with your questions and local context! This workshop is co-sponsored by the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation, Coastal Communities Network, New Brunswick Environmental Network, and the Nova Scotia Environmental Network.
Leadership: Kim Klein is the foremost fundraising trainer and consultant in 50 states and 21 countries. She is the author of numerous books, including Fundraising for Social Change, Fundraising for the Long Haul, Ask and You Shall Receive: A Fundraising Training Program for Religious Organizations or Projects, Raise More Money which she edited with her partner, Stephanie Roth, and Fundraising in Times of Crisis.
