Position: Environmental Projects Coordinator

Organization: Bedeque Bay Environmental  Management Association http://www.bbema.ca

Location: Emerald, Prince Edward Island



The Bedeque Bay Environmental Management Association 

seeks an energetic, organized, conscientious individual to

implement a climate change education program and other

environmental activities. Duties to include: engaging PEI

trucking sector in adopting management practices &

technologies to conserve energy & reduce emissions;

tracking/measuring progress; facilitate information sharing

within the transportation sector, liaise with project

advisory committee, trucking sector & other partners;

conduct climate change education & presentations; proposal 

& report writing.



Requirements: University/College grad with related

environmental work experience; excellent written and oral

communication skills; project & financial tracking

abilities; effective interpersonal skills; proficiency with

Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with promotion & press

release development & social marketing. Previous work with

not for profit sector an asset.



Term: approx. 7 months starting immediately until April

30th, 2008. Salary commensurate with experience.
