Position: Executive Director

Cape Jourimain Nature Centre, located in southeast 

New Brunswick, is a non-profit organization. For more

information on the Centre, see http://www.capejourimain.ca .



We seek an Executive Director to manage the operation of a

major environmental non-profit organization including the

development and implementation of strategic and operational

plans and programs, supervision of a seasonal staff of

20-25, raising funds, marketing and program promotion,

maintaining financial responsibility, facility maintenance

and establishing effective relationships and teambuilding

with all stakeholders, including staff, volunteers and

partners. 



The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English and French) 

and should have most of these qualifications: 5+ years 

of senior management experience, including 2+ years 

in a non-profit organization; superior interpersonal,

organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills;

demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams;

demonstrated fundraising success; experience in marketing;

and a strong interest in environmental or heritage

education, ecotourism, green technology and strengthening

rural communities. 



Annual salary in the $45,000-$60,000 range, depending 

on qualifications.
