NSEN presents: FUNDRAISING 101


Please join us for an evening with Mary Martin, Vice President of KCI as she
shares her expertise and insights on top philanthropic trends in 2011. Mary
will also provide a hands-on session in which all attendees will
participate.

WHEN: 	Thursday, June 2, 2011 

WHERE: 	Veith House, 3115 Veith St., Halifax

TIME:		4pm - 8pm
		
COST:		$10 for NSEN Members.

WHAT: 	Mary Martin will provide details on the top trends of fundraising.
She will also help organizations 		make a case for their
fundraising campaigns. This is a great opportunity to learn more about
asking 		individuals and businesses for donations.

About the Presenter:

Mary Martin – Vice President

With more than 30 years’ experience in the not-for-profit arena, Mary Martin
is a seasoned development professional who has successfully managed and
implemented multi-million dollar capital and annual campaigns for some of
Canada’s most prestigious educational and health care institutions. 

Since joining KCI in June 2002, Ms. Martin has worked with a number of
clients including the Symphony Nova Scotia, Discovery Centre, IWK Health
Centre Foundation, QEII Health Sciences Centre Foundation, the Friends of
The Moncton Hospital Foundation, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation in
Charlottetown, the Health Care Foundation of St. John’s, the Janeway
Children’s Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society – Nova Scotia
Division, the Canadian Red Cross-Atlantic Zone, Heart and Stroke Foundation
of Nova Scotia, the Coady International Institute, Memorial University of
Newfoundland, Saint Mary’s University, Acadia University, the University of
New Brunswick, the University of Prince Edward Island, NSCAD University,
