Evergreen is now accepting applications for Canon's Take Root Program, supporting stewardship and restoration projects across Canada.
 
Mark your calendar! The deadline for applications is:
 
May 25, 2012
 
Canon's Take Root Program, a stewardship and restoration program sponsored by Canon and led by Evergreen, provides funds of $5,000 and a Canon PowerShot camera to community groups across Canada carrying out tree-planting projects in September 2012 in celebration of National Tree Day.
 
Eligible projects must include at least one planting event in September and result in the planting of at least 250 native trees.
