Job Description
The NB Strategic Plan Coordinator will provide support to ACORN staff with a variety of tasks related to the promotion of organic food and agriculture in the province. This support will primarily be related to the implementation of ACORN's New Brunswick project, titled: Strategic Provincial Market Access Development and Implementation for Organic Products.

Specific tasks will include:
• Event coordination -- assisting with planning and promotion of both farmer and consumer focused events
• Communications -- web updating, blogging, article research and development
• Resource Development -- assisting with the production of materials geared to building connections in the local organic sector

• Strong interest in organic food and agriculture
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Excellent written/spoken English is essential; French would be considered an asset
• Experience with Macs and/or graphic design would be considered an asset
• Must be a full-time student in the current academic year entering or resuming post-secondary studies in September

Job details
35 hours/week at $11.00/hour for an 8-week contract. Start date negotiable. The successful candidate will work out of ACORN's office in Sackville, NB.
