[Sust-mar] sust-mar message - Second Fruit Tree Planting Day!

Join us on May 13 from 10:00 until 2:00 for the second Fruit Tree
Planting Day. The concept is simple: those who want to can buy a fruit
or nut tree or shrub at cost, and have it delivered to your place and
planted by a team of volunteers. You will recieve instructions on its
care as well as the contact of a local harvest-helping network at
Reach-Ability.

You can find the inventory at www.charliethetreeguy.ca. Most trees are
about $30 and most shrubs start at $10 or $12. There are also cuttings
of hardy kiwi, gooseberry and currant available for $5 each.

Did you know we can grow hazelnuts, walnuts, beechnut, butternut,
heartnut, chestnuts, mulberries, grapes, hops apples ,peaches,
apricots, quince, plum, persimmon and lots more in Nova Scotia?
