EOS Eco-Energy is looking for an Executive Director.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead a number of exciting projects linked to sustainable community development, alternative technologies, energy efficiency, and climate change. This position is based out of our Sackville (N.B.) office.

About EOS:
EOS is committed to a vision of the Tantramar Region being "green energy sustainable". In other words, that we use no more energy in our region than we can produce, using sustainable methods.

Duties:
• Design and deliver education and outreach projects related to sustainability, renewable technologies, energy efficiency, and climate change.
• Network, collaborate, and maintain relationships with local community partners.
• Apply for funding each year for a variety of projects, and manage budgets.
• Inspire staff creativity to achieve project deliverables, develop and oversee work plans.

Experience required:
• Knowledge of and interest in sustainable communities and energy sustainability.
• Fluency in English, and some French is required.
• At least two years experience directing projects, writing proposals, managing finances.
• University graduate preferred.
• Experience working with NGOs is essential (1 year minimum).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office, and website maintenance.
• Must have valid driver's license.

Duration:
This is a nine-month contract with the possibility of an extension after March 31st, 2013.
Salary: $ 15 to $ 20 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
