[Sust-mar] Event Coordinator - contract opportunity

The NS Food Security Network (www.nsfoodsecurity.org), FoodARC (www.foodsecurityresearchcentre.ca) and key
partners are looking for an adept Event Coordinator to be responsible for providing support in the planning
and delivery of the May 2013 NS Food Movement Gathering. The Gathering will be
designed to increase and accelerate actions to improve food security for every
community across the province and to understand and celebrate what has happened
since the 2008 Gathering in Debert.
This
contract position for an experienced and informed person has two components and
will run over the course of twenty+ weeks from December 2012 to mid May 2013,
according to an accepted work plan for a total of $4,000- $5,000, depending on
experience (exclusive of applicable taxes).
