Transition St Margaret's Bay Great Unleashing: Building resilience in
Extraordinary Times

Tantallon-based resilience group celebrate the launch of a Transition
Initaitive: creating a prosperous, secure and fulfilling age after oil in
Bay St Margarets. Transition is a tool to help communities adress economic
fragility, reduced energy supplies and environmental changes in the years
ahead. There are 60 Transition initiatives in Canada and over 900
worldwide. A Great Unleashing is designed to empower communities at a
deeper level to engage, network, cooperate and begin planning their own
resiliency.

Friday Nov 24. You are invited to participate in our half day Live
networked Maritime-wide symposium on Transition Bay invites groups to speak
who are planning for a post-carbon future. Plan an event in your own
community: engage with your friends and neigbours, with a local polititian,
or raise awreness. Transtion's founder Rob Hopkins will be giving a remote
real-time adress with a keynote adress by Nicole Fosse of
www.theautomaticearth.com.

Saturday: conference and open house of Transition related groups,
conference on topics of local money, slow food, local gardneing and
farming, alternative energy, transportation, local economies and more.

Saturday night: supper and music with local artists
